England C Squad Announced For Bermuda Friendly

Paul Fairclough has announced his squad for the upcoming friendly in Bermuda. The lucky ones chosen will fly out to the paradise island for the match, which takes place on Tuesday, June 4th. The match, organised at the request of the Football Association, takes place at the Bermuda National Stadium, and will provide the home side with an ideal warmup prior to the Island Games, which get underway on July 13th.

Unsurprisingly, there are some big names in the squad. Preston Edwards, the Ebbsfleet goalkeeper, is named, as is Kiddy’s goal machine Anthony Malbon and Luton’s twenty goal hitman Andre Gray. The full squad is as follows (taken from Pitchero):

Preston EDWARDS (Ebbsfleet United), Mitchell WALKER (Dover Athletic), Daniel BRADLEY (Alfreton Town), Antoni SARCEVIC (Chester FC), James NORWOOD (Forest Green Rovers), Chris STOKES (Forest Green Rovers), Josh GILLIES (Gateshead), Sam CLUCAS (Hereford United), Ryan BOWMAN (Hereford United), Micky DEMETRIOU (Kidderminster Harriers), Anthony MALBON (Kidderminster Harriers), Andre GRAY (Luton Town), Ryan JACKSON (Macclesfield Town), Harry BEAUTYMAN (Sutton United), Anthony ACHEAMPONG (Welling United), Fraser FRANKS (Welling United).

If anyone wants a report from the game, then feel free to sponsor me to make the long and arduous trip!

About James Bartaby

Hey, I'm James and I'm relatively new to non-league football, having only taken in my first match in September 2011. Despite it being a 0-4 defeat for Hampton & Richmond Borough, I became a huge fan of the club and NL in general. So much so that they are now the first club that I mention when talking about which team I support! I just got massively disillusioned with top flight football in this country and the attitudes of the lawmakers and top clubs in general, and I wanted to start taking my son to see decent football. I am now the club's Deputy Press Officer, and loving every minute!
